The traditional Luhansk regional festival of creativity of children and youth with disabilities «East -West-2020» was held at Kryminna Regional Special School.
This year about 100 talented girls and children from different parts of the Luhansk region have attended this event.
There were students of Svatovo regional special school, Lysychansk center for social and psychological rehabilitation of children, Rubizhne regional educational and rehabilitation center «Khrustalik», Popasna district center for the comprehensive rehabilitation of people with disabilities «LELEKA» , and hosts of this festival were students of Kryminna regional special school.

«This is a vivid example of how important spirituality, culture and psychological support are for children and youth with disabilities. Participants actively prepared and impressed the audience with their performances,» said Ievhenia Ratikhina, a deputy head of Youth and Sports Department of the Regional State Administration.
Luhansk regional festival of creativity of children and youth with disabilities «East-West-2020» is a unique project for the region and has been held in Luhansk region for more than 10 years. Its goal is to support talented youth with disabilities.
The event was organized by Youth and Sports Department of Regional State Administration, Luhansk Regional Center for Sociocultural Adaptation of Youth with Disabilities, the National Assembly of People with Disabilities of Ukraine and Luhansk Regional Public Youth Organization «AYD-East» with the support of the NGO «Union of Samaritans of Ukraine, Kyiv Department”, Luhansk Regional Fund for Social Protection of People with Disabilities, Kryminna Regional Special School.
